In Conversation with Fred Khumalo

Two Tons O’Fun is prolific author Fred Khumalo’s most recently published novel. It is described as a charming coming of age story set in a Jozi township. The novel is rich and vibrant, telling about a young woman who uncovers her skill as a writer, explores her sexuality, travel, and finally understands her mother. Imbiza Journal for African writing editor Siphiwo Mahala chats to the author about his latest novel and career as an award-winning journalist and newspaper columnist. Fred Khumalo was the 2021 Featured Author at the Time of the Writer Festival.
