Featured Author of the 25th edition of the Time of the Writer festival Mandla Langa is an iconic figure in South African history and literature. Editor of the Imbiza Journal for African Writing and passionate South African literature intellectual Siphiwo Mahala chats to Mandla Langa to trace how Mandla about his life as a youth activist, his years in exile and his prolific and multi-accoladed career as one of South Africa’s most prolific novelists, poets, writers and public intellectuals.
