World Poetry Day

To bid farewell to the Time of the Writer 2024 festival we close it off with commemorating the South African Human Rights Day as well as to celebrate the International Mother Language Day. Join us for a poetic journey that transcends borders and celebrates the beauty of languages rooted in cultural heritage. Hosted by Amanda Zuma, renowned poets Tsosheletso Chidi, vangile gantsho, Uhuru Phalafala, Thando Fuze and Lethu Nkwanyana will grace our stage. As we close the festival, let the poetic voices carry the spirit of unity, reminding us of the importance of preserving and cherishing the linguistic landscape that makes our world extraordinary.
