SUMMARY:Theme: Writing as embodiment and emancipation
DESCRIPTION:How do we embody our writing? How does one translate the language of the body on to the page? How does the body live in the work? How can writing facilitate emancipation/liberation from the body? In what ways does language enable us to rise above or to be transported? Our workshop will comprise of group discussion exploring the above prompts vocally, physically and concluding with an exploration/reflection through writing.
