DESCRIPTION:The Joburg Literary Site-specific Theatre Project started in October 2022 with a competition for new short-form set in Johannesburg. The three winning texts are being used as inspiration of a performance work by Jade Bowers to be staged site-specifically in Doornfontein, Johannesburg, in April 2023. This session brings together the artists and researchers involved in this public-art-research-archive to discuss how it uses creative writing and theatre as participatory processes to explore everyday experiences of the city.\n
