Yvette Christiansë is Claire Tow, Professor of Africana Studies & English Literature at Barnard College. Her publications include Toni Morrison: An Ethical Poetics, Unconfessed (novel), Castaway and Imprendehora (poetry). She and Rosalind Morris are co-librettists and co-producers of Southern Crossings: A Chamber Opera, Zaid Jabri composer. She is the Associate Producer of the documentary We Are Zama Zama, Prod. & Dir. Rosalind Morris.
