Born and raised in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, Thabile Shange is a qualified journalist who studied at the Durban University of Technology. In 2018, she published a young adult short story titled, ‘The Morning After’. Her debut novel ‘In The Midst of It All’ was published in 2022 by Kwela Books, an imprint of NB Publishers. The novel was included in Brittle Paper’s list of 100 Notable African Books of 2022.
