Nelisiwe Mofutsanyana is a former consultant at the Wits Writing Centre, who has supported Reading Clubs and Spelling Bees in high schools and libraries, mainly in Soweto, and has worked as a Language Tutor and general assistant at a Homework and Inclusive Remedial Centre (registered with Department of Basic Education.) Nelisiwe is a geographer who is passionate about world literature and multi-modal approaches to literacy in basic education. She is a member of Fat Cats Book Club and is currently one of the facilitators of the National Reading Coalition’s Virtual Reading Club initiative.
