Dr Gugulethu Mazibuko is a Senior Lecturer at the University of KwaZulu-Natal in the School of Arts (African Languages). She has published in the fields of Literature, Language Planning and Onomastics. Mazibuko is the African Union isiZulu Language Commissioner, a member of UMZUKAZWE and the KwaZulu-Natal Provincial Language Chairperson. She edited a number of literary works amongst others; UNodumehlezi KaMenzi, an epic poem by Mazisi Kunene, she also edited Zidla Inkotha a poetry anthology, UDudu Khoza, a biography of Ukhozi Radio presenter, and many others. She translated Golden Melodies from Hindi Cinema into isiZulu, the book is called Imizwilili.
