Clementine Ewokolo Burnley is a public storyteller,  and community worker.  Her short pieces, essays and poetry  have appeared most recently in the National Fiction Anthology, Barren, Erbacce Journal,Ink, Sweat and Tears, Schlosspost Membrane, Losslit, Emma Press’ Second Place Rosette: Anthology of Britain and die Neue Rundschau (Fischer Verlag).  In 2014 she co-edited a short story collection Winter Short Stories with Sharon Dodua Otoo. Clementine has been in the final selection for the Amsterdam Open Book Prize, the Firstpages Prize, Bristol Short Story Prize, the Miles Morland Award, the Esalen Emerging Writers Award, the Bridport Flash Fiction Competition, and in the semi final selection for Split Lip, the Erbacce Poetry Prize/ Bath Flash Competitions. She’s an Obsidian Foundation Fellow, and a participant in the Curtis Brown Breakthrough Writers Programme. She received a Grant to make work from Edwin Morganrus Tust.
